Dr. Emily Wojtowicz's journey to dentistry is a testament to her passion for science, personal connection, and lifelong learning. Originally from Plymouth, Wisconsin, she discovered her love for scientific exploration during her undergraduate years at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where she pursued a Biomedical Science degree with a minor in Chemistry. Her early academic interests centered on molecular biology and research, initially leading her toward a path of graduate studies in molecular genetics.
However, life's unexpected turns would guide her toward a deeply fulfilling career in dentistry. After meeting her husband, Travis, and while he completed his physician assistant training, Dr. Emily began exploring career options in healthcare. Her pivotal moment came while shadowing local dentists, particularly Dr. Karas, who opened her eyes to the profound blend of surgical precision and personal patient care that defines modern dentistry.
Transitioning from her academic research background, Dr. Emily found herself captivated by dentistry's unique ability to combine scientific knowledge with meaningful human interactions. She was particularly drawn to the hands-on surgical procedures and the opportunity to form lasting relationships with patients, approaching each individual's care with the same compassion she would extend to her own family.

She and Travis have deep roots in the community, having recently inherited and restored the Wojtowicz family farmhouse—a historic property now hosting the fifth generation of their family. Their sons, Wes and Johnny, are growing up in the same cherished space that has sustained their family for generations.
